In the final weeks of the course, I really appreciated the generous timeline that we were given for our tutorial projects. It was greatly beneficial to be given the freedom to focus on finalizing our tutorials without also having to worry about reading articles and posting within the discussion areas simultaneously. Because of this, my group was able to fine tune many areas within our own tutorial site in order to enhance not only the content, but the visual appeal of the site, as well as improve upon the site navigation to increase site visitors’ ease of use. I also appreciated the fact that I had time to visit the tutorial sites for all of the other groups as well. I can honestly say that each of the tutorials was valuable to me in some way and I plan on sharing these digital resources with my own colleagues at an upcoming staff meeting. I love that each group focused on a unique topic, so that we were all able to benefit from a wider variety of material being covered than what would have been possible through a simple read and respond style of assignment. Although I am already using Edmodo and I knew quite a bit about it already, I still learned many new things from my own research for this project, as well as from the information gathered by my group mates. I thoroughly enjoyed this learning experience, and I genuinely liked the entire course. I have provided links to the various tutorials here, so that I am able to continue to access and share these resources beyond the conclusion of the course.
