ETEC 590: Graduating Project
Revisiting, reflecting and revising; the construction of my ePortfolio
For an author, the revising and editing stages of their work is never truly done. Many authors look back upon their published works wishing that they could make a revision here, an omission there… Although the act of writing is a solitary task, an author is not alone in this process. A supportive team helps a writer improve upon his initial drafts to make the final product stronger. This is essentially the same process that ETEC 590 allowed me to take. I was able to draft my initial proposal and receive feedback and constructive criticism before my ePortfolio was even ‘born.’ Throughout the creative process, I have been able to receive ongoing support to help shape and strengthen my ePortfolio. Being granted the time to revisit and reflect upon the nine other MET courses has been a very valuable learning experience. I continue to be shocked by just how much I have learned in the past two and a half years. I am eager to continue my journey as a lifelong learner and further refine my teaching practices in the years to come thanks to the MET program and my experiences within it.
