ETEC 565A: Learning Technologies-Selection, Design and Application
Making choices to create a successful final product.
Writers are constantly faced with choices as they progress toward the publication of their work. Conducting research, selecting high interest topics, zoning in on the style that will captivate their target audience and deciding on the publication format and cover art are just a few of the major decisions that authors face. Through this course, I gained an understanding of the importance of selecting the right technology and online tools for your intended purposes. I also realized that designing your online learning medium to be one that is welcoming and provides your students access to tools that allow them to be active contributors and collaborators is critical. Just as a good writer invites the reader into the story, a well-built online learning environment should invite your students in to become members of a community of learning.
