Much to the teacher’s delight, she was accepted into the MET program without the need for magic at all, although she couldn’t say for sure that all of the crossed fingers and positive thinking were not contributing factors. After looking at her long term schedule and the course overviews, she decided to complete all four of the core courses in her first year. She wanted to be sure that she had the necessary foundational knowledge to see her through to the end of her journey without the need for a breadcrumb trail or friendly woodland creatures to guide her along her path. Armed with a course syllabus and a second monitor (hallelujah!), she set out on the uncharted trail before her.
